For the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara (MCASB), I created the logo and exhibition materials for Sangre de Nopal, an exhibition honoring Indigenous identity, heritage, and resilience. The design drew inspiration from the nopal cactus, a powerful symbol of endurance, connection to the land, and ancestral wisdom. Through intentional typography, organic textures, and earth-inspired colors, the visual identity reflected the exhibition’s themes of reclamation and cultural survival. This project highlighted the importance of Indigenous storytelling in contemporary art and strengthened the museum’s commitment to inclusive representation.
