Civic Engagement Campaigns

This project was created to support Wendy Santamaría’s campaign for Santa Barbara District 1 Councilmember, where she successfully won the election. I designed original artwork that reflected her dedication to equity, community empowerment, and cultural representation across the Eastside. The visuals not only celebrated Wendy’s grassroots leadership but also emphasized her commitment to civic participation and uplifting underrepresented voices in local government. The campaign art played a crucial role in inspiring civic engagement and pride, contributing to a movement dubbed 'We the Future' that brought historic representation and inclusive leadership to Santa Barbara’s District 1.

We The Future is a national civic engagement campaign by Amplifier Art that empowers young Americans, particularly those aged 18 to 29, to acknowledge the significance of their voices and votes. Centered on increasing voter registration, education, and access, this initiative, part of the Wendy Santamaría campaign, inspires the most diverse generation in U.S. history to take action for a more equitable future. Through bold, inclusive artwork and storytelling collaborations, including my contribution as Adriana La Artista, We The Future promotes lifelong civic participation and celebrates the strength of youth voices in shaping democracy and community empowerment.
